•EducAid is run in the UK by a team of very committed and generous volunteers who undertake tasks varying from managing the bank account to organising the fund-raising timetable when Miriam visits to responding to inquiries and so on.
•EducAid has, in the last few years, had some excellent visiting volunteers in Sierra Leone who have greatly contributed to the programmes.
•They have made generous contributions to EducAid funding.
•They have brought needed skills and have demonstrated a wonderful openness to learn from Sierra Leone at the same time.
•Many have gone back to their countries of origin and have kept in touch with the friends they made here and have continued to fund-raise for us, clearly still seeing themselves as part of the EducAid family.
