EducAid Sierra Leone believes in sustainable development led by Sierra Leoneans.  Some aspects of our sustainability are:

•The Sierra Leonean Leadership Team takes active day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running, decision-making and activities of the EducAid schools.

•The economics of sustainability is equally important.  In response to the global financial crisis the various schools have tried to take on the challenge of assisting at least in the responsibility for feeding themselves and have started school farming projects. 

•Most successful, Magbeni grew significant quantities of rice.  No small challenge while engaged in full time education at the same time!
